Why do a postgraduate certificate or diploma in Business in Tourism?

The Postgraduate Certificate in Business (PGCertBus) in Tourism and Postgraduate Diploma in Business (PGDipBus) in Tourism are for students who have graduated with a Bachelor's degree.

The programmes:

  • Enable students to further specialise in tourism and related areas of study
  • Can act as a bridge between undergraduate study and the Master of Business (MBus) in Tourism
  • Require no independent supervised research (i.e. dissertation)
  • Can be completed by full-time or part-time study
  • If studying full-time, the PGCertBus can be completed in one semester, whereas the PGDipBus would take two semesters

Information for applicants

Applicants must be graduates, normally with qualifications requiring a total of at least three years of tertiary study with an average grade of 70% (B) or higher.

Applicants must meet the University postgraduate English language requirements, if their first language is not English. This must be organised prior to enrolling in the programme, though not necessarily at the time of application to the programme.
