There are a number of different kinds of leave that staff can access as part of their employment package. All types of leave require formal application and approval, and you should discuss your plans with your Manager as early as possible.
Types of leave
Leave entitlements are defined in your employment agreement, but general information, including how to book the specific leave type, can be found at the below links.

Booking your leave
The majority of staff can book Annual, Sick, Domestic, Bereavement/Tangihanga, and Long Service Leave through the Staff Web Kiosk. Your request will automatically go to the appropriate approver and you will be informed of the outcome by automatic email from the Web Kiosk.
If you are a part time or full time staff member on a roster, Sick, Domestic and Bereavement/Tangihanga leave application is made via one of the below on-line forms.
If leave bookings have already been approved in the Web Kiosk but you need to change/cancel the leave, complete a Leave Reversal Request before any replacement leave booking is made.
Agreed changes to previously approved leave not booked via the Web Kiosk are to be formally advised to Human Resources by you or your Manager.
